  • Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable

4.3 Changes to Services

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services
  • Update features and functionality

5. Event Organiser Terms

5.1 Event Creation Responsibilities

As an Event Organiser, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring all event information is accurate and not misleading
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Obtaining necessary licences, permits, and insurance
  • Venue arrangements and health & safety requirements
  • Accurate capacity limits and accessibility information
  • Clear refund and cancellation policies

5.2 Booking Fees

Revolutionary Feature:

Ticketebook allows Event Organisers to keep 100% of booking fees. You set optional booking fees per event, and all booking fee revenue goes directly to you. This is an industry-first feature that turns ticketing from a cost into a profit centre.

5.3 Platform Fees (Credits)

Event Organisers pay for Platform usage via our credit-based system:

  • Credits are purchased in advance
  • One credit = one ticket issued (paid or free)
  • Credits are valid for 24 months
  • See our Pricing page for current rates

5.4 Payouts

We process payouts to Event Organisers:

  • Ticket revenue is held securely until the event date
  • Standard payout: Within 5-7 business days after the event
  • Booking fees: Paid out with ticket revenue
  • Refunded amounts are deducted from payouts

5.5 Event Cancellation or Postponement

If you cancel or postpone an event:

  • You must notify ticket buyers immediately
  • Refund obligations are your responsibility
  • Platform credits used are non-refundable
  • You must comply with your stated refund policy

6. Ticket Buyer Terms

6.1 Ticket Purchase

When you purchase tickets:

  • You enter into a contract with the Event Organiser, not Ticketebook
  • Ticketebook acts as an agent for ticket sales
  • All ticket sales are final unless the Event Organiser's refund policy states otherwise
  • You must provide accurate contact and billing information

6.2 Ticket Delivery

Tickets are typically delivered via:

  • Email (PDF or eTicket)
  • Mobile app (QR code)
  • Postal delivery (if selected and available)

6.3 Entry to Events

To gain entry to an event:

  • You must present a valid ticket (physical or electronic)
  • Additional ID may be required
  • Event Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry
  • You must comply with venue rules and regulations

6.4 Ticket Transfer and Resale

Unless explicitly permitted by the Event Organiser:

  • Tickets may not be resold for profit
  • Unauthorised resale may result in ticket cancellation
  • Ticket transfers may be permitted via Platform features

7. Payments and Fees

7.1 Payment Processing

We use secure third-party payment processors including:

  • Etellect ePayment Services (rates from 1.2% + 15p)
  • Stripe and other PCI-DSS compliant providers

7.2 Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
  • Other methods as made available

7.3 Fee Structure

For Event Organisers:

  • Platform Fee: Credit-based (pay per ticket)
  • Payment Processing: Variable depending on provider (typically 1.2%-1.5% + fixed fee)
  • Booking Fees: 100% retained by Event Organiser

For Ticket Buyers:

  • Ticket price (set by Event Organiser)
  • Optional booking fee (if set by Event Organiser)
  • Payment processing fees (typically included in booking fee)

7.4 Currency

All transactions are processed in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion fees may apply for international transactions.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Each Event Organiser sets their own refund policy. Ticketebook is not responsible for refunds unless:

  • The event is cancelled by the organiser
  • There is a technical error in ticket issuance
  • Required by law

If an event is cancelled:

  • The Event Organiser is responsible for issuing refunds
  • Ticketebook will facilitate refund processing
  • Platform fees (credits) are non-refundable
  • Payment processing fees may not be refunded

8.3 Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within:

  • 5-10 business days to your original payment method
  • Time may vary depending on your bank or card issuer

8.4 Consumer Rights

UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 may apply. Tickets for events are generally exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period for distance sales if the event occurs within that period.
